AIS Gateway
is a part of the Digital Gateways.

The group provides modern solutions for companies that care about acquiring customers through the use of digital onboarding (e.g. financial verification, e-signatures, KYC, and KYB). The company uses technology developed by Autenti and Identt. Both AIS Gateway and the entire Digital Gateways group are the result of cooperation between The Heart and Mastercard.

Michał Konopka

CEO AIS Gateway
Business development

A manager with 15 years of experience in the international fintech market, focused on technology and data. He is responsible for risk management, development of companies and fintech products. Earlier in his career, he managed the strategies of companies operating in the Scandinavian countries, Spain and Poland.

He is also a founder of risk management and consulting companies for the lending sector. In 2021, he was among the 50 best managers in the Polish financial market - a title awarded by „Loan Magazine".

Krzysztof Biernacki

Strategy and business owner

Biernacki co-manages AIS Gateway and is also the CEO of the Digital Gateways. He has over 18 years of experience in digital, marketing, operations and IT. At Aviva Polska, as chief digital officer, he was responsible for digital transformation. He also has over 10 years of experience in the banking sector.

In that time, he introduced award-winning e-banking and mobile channels, created innovative payment solutions, and implemented an omnichannel platform for client-bank partnerships.Previously a member of the Electronic Banking Council within ZBP (Polish Bank Association), he is currently a member of the digitalization team at the Polish Insurance Association. He is a PHD of economic sciences.

Weronika Gross-Markowska

Data Science and IT

Gross-Markowska has over 14 years of experience in expert positions related to data analysis and management. She started her career with risk management, later shifting her focus to IT and data science. She specializes in data warehousing, data analytics, decision support systems (DSS), business intelligence, and has extensive ETL (extract, transform, load) experience.

She has led and participated in many data projects for international fintech companies. She studied information technology with a focus on econometrics and actuarial statistics.
